Two injured in firing mishaps

KARACHI: Two citizens were shot and injured in separate firing incidents in the city on Monday.

Rescue sources said that a youth, Asif, 25, son of Sajid, a resident of Orangi town, was shot and wounded when he offered resistance to bandits during the robbery near Brohi Hotel in Orangi town. The injured was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.

In another incident, a 35-year-old man, Mumtaz, son of Hashim, was wounded by unknown armed men’s firing near Pakistan Bazaar in Orangi town. The victim was brought to ASH for treatment.
