Two Khasadar  Force soldiers shot hurt in Jamrud

Peshawar: Two on duty Khasadar Force troops sustained bullets injuries when unknown armed persons fired on their post here in Shahkas area of tehsil Jamrud, sub-division of Khyber agency, official and local sources informed on Tuesday.

The sources said unknown militants riding on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing on the Khasadar post and wounded two of them. In retaliatory firing of the Khasadar,  they were forced  to flee, sources said. The injured soldiers were identified as Saeed Khan and Khewa Jan.

Immediately after the incident the administration officials rushed to the spot, cordoned off the whole area and shifted the injured to Jamrud hospital where from they were referred to Peshawar hospital due to their precarious condition, sources said.

Search operation was later launched in the area, sources said. The law and order situation has been getting worse day by day at Jamrud sub division of Khyber Agency. Couple of weeks before the security forces had launched search operation at Jamrud and had also imposed curfew but despite that the law and order situation could not be improved.
