Two killed, five injured in city violence

KARACHI: Two persons including a woman were killed and five others were injured in separate violence incidents in the metropolis on Monday.

A teenager, Bilal, 14, son of Hameed Gul, was gunned down by unknown assailants in front of his home in Street 19 in New Muzaffarabad Colony, Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an

autopsy.

A woman, Shabana, 28, daughter of Mahmood, was shot dead by unknown gunmen near Cheel Chowk in Lyari. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.

A youth, Umair, 25, son of Shamim, was wounded by the bullets of unidentified armed persons at Karbala Ground, Landhi No 6. He was rushed to JPMC for treatment.

In another incident, Asif, 25, son of Khuda Baksh, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Ali Bhai Auditorium on Nishter Road. He was brought to CHK for treatment.

In a separate incident, two boys, Ahmad Ali, 18, son of Abdul Sattar and Abdus Samad, 20, son of Abdur Razaaq were injured by unknown armed men near graveyard, Cheel Chowk in Lyari. They were rushed to CHK for treatment.
