Two killed, four injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and four others injured in separate road mishaps here on Tuesday. A man, Imdad, 34, son of Sharif, was killed in a road mishap when a heavy vehicle hit him as he was crossing the road. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.

In another incident, a youth, Tahir Ali Zaidi, 21, son of Wasi, was killed when a fast moving vehicle hit him near Landhi Hospital Chowrangi. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, a teenager, Zubair, 19, son of Khalid Hussain, resident of Surjani town, was injured when a speedy vehicle hit him near Baba Chariya Factory. He was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

Separately, an elder person, Mian Mohammad, 50, son of Batil Khan, was injured in a road mishap near Karsaz bus stop. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Meanwhile, a man, Rehman, 40, son of Rehan, resident of Landhi, was seriously injured when a vehicle crashed him near Hussaini roundabout in Malir. He was brought to JPMC for treatment.

Furthermore, a youth, Navid, aged about 23, son of Hashim, resident of Malir, was injured when he was hit by a car near Bismillah Masjid in Model Colony located in Malir. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
