Two killed, three injured in city incidents

KARACHI: Two people were killed and three others injured in separate accidents in the city on Thursday. A woman, Zareen Khan, 50, wife of Aman Khan, was electrocuted at her home in Lalabad, Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.

An unidentified man, aged 36, was killed when a vehicle ran over him near Saleem Centre in North Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Mansoor, 24, son of Hassan, was injured when a vehicle hit him in Mansehra Colony, Landhi. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Two men, Ikram, 26, son of Abbas, and Arshad, 23, son of Liaquat, residents of Korangi, were injured when a rickshaw turned turtle near police station in Landhi No 4. The injured were shifted to JPMC for treatment.
