Two killed, three injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and three others injured in separate road mishaps here on Thursday.

A teenager, Shehryar, 13, son of Liaquat, resident of Shah Faisal Town, was killed when a speedy vehicle hit him near Shah Faisal Town No 3. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.

In another incident, an old aged man, Umair, aged around 50, was killed in road mishap near Raza Mobile Market in Malir. The body was brought to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, two men, Sadique, 55, son of Karam, and Tahir, 35, son of Maqsood, residents of Azam Town, were injured when a vehicle hit them near Frere Hall, Marriott Hotel. Both injured were shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Separately, a youth, Tariq, 27, son of Nawab, resident of Gul Bahar Colony, was injured in road mishap near Board Office in North Nazimabad. He was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
