Two militants killed, three injured in a clash with security forces at Jamrud

LANDIKOTAL: Two militants killed, three injured in a clash with security forces at Jamrud sub division of Khyber Agency here on Tuesday, local sources said. In the same gun battle two personnel of security forces also sustained bullets injuries whereas security forces have claimed to have recovered two abductees from Lashora and Shangar areas of Jamrud, sources added.

Separately in gunfire between security forces and the banned LI at Aka Khel in Tirrah Valley, nine terrorists have been reportedly killed and eleven others injured, sources informed.

ISPR has issued a text message in which it has been claimed that so far after the start of the operation Khyber One, 135 terrorists have been killed including some important militant commanders, adding that 250 militants including their key commanders have laid their weapons and surrendered to the forces in Khyber Agency during the on going Khyber One operation.
