Two villagers, alleged bandit killed

Khairpur, Sindh: A man along with son was shot dead while one bandit also killed and a cop injured in an encounter near here on Monday.

According to details, six armed motorcyclists opened firing with sophisticated weapons on one Zawar Gulan Shahani and his son Waris Ali Shahani near Village Qaisar Khan Shahani in the jurisdiction of Ranipur police station. They both were injured seriously and died on way to hospital while the armed men fled.

The cause of murders was to be stated old enmity between two rival groups of Shahani community.

However, as the armed men were fleeing, Kumb police chased them near village Talpur Wada after encounter killed one accused identified as Sher Muhammad alias Shero Shahani while a police constable Shoukat Gopang was injured who sent to local hospital. However, other accused managed to flee.

Police registered case and began probe.
