Two women among four killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Four people including two women were killed in different firing and violent incidents in the city on Sunday. According to police, a man was shot at dead near Qalandaria Chowk in North Nazimabad. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet.

In another incident of firing, a 22-year-old youth, was killed by unknown armed men in Surjani Town Sector 36-B. The body was brought to ASH for identification.

A 50-yearold woman, Sharmin was shot dead near Sindh Qatar Hospital Chowrangi in Orangi Town. The body was shifted to ASH for a postmortem examination.

Separately, a tortured body of a woman was found from Malir Nadi near Qayyumabad area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet.

Akram, 22, son of Shahi Taj, was shot and injured at Pir Colony in Orangi Town. The injured was brought to ASH for treatment.
