Ubaid K2, Shah identified in cops murder case

KARACHI: The witness on Monday identified Ubaid alias K2 and Nadir Shah before the Judicial Magistrate East in a murder case of two police officers, according to court.

The rangers and police produced the suspects, Ubaid K2 and Nadir Shah, before Judicial Magistrate East Suleman Buriro for the identification parade in a case pertaining to the murder of Sub-Inspector Mohammad Rehan and Sub-Inspector Mohammad Nisar. According to court sources, the witnesses identified K2 and Shah as a murderer of both the officers who were killed in 2000.

The witnesses while recording their statements said that they saw K2 and Shah shooting the two policemen.

According to the prosecution, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Rehan and Sub-Inspector Mohammad Nisar were killed on 23 March 2000 when unknown armed men attacked them near Bundu Khan Hotel, Soldier Bazaar.

Ubaid K2 and Nadir Shah were among the suspects arrested from MQM headquarter Nine-Zero on early morning of 11th March 2015.
