UPDATED: Three more fall prey to Karachi violence

KARACHI:,,, Three people were killed and three others injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Friday. Moin Uddin, 30, son of Shams Uddin, was shot dead by unidentified armed men in New Karachi Sector-5-E near Mujahid Mosque. The body was shifted to Abbasi shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examination. He was an employee of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, said hospital staff.

A man Rana Atiq alias Gullu was killed by unknown armed men in Haryana Colony, Orangi Town Sector-10. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.

An unidentified man, aged 45, was shot dead by unknown armed men near Siddiq Farm on Superhighway. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

Muhammad Aslam, 20, son of Yaqoob, was shot and injured while offering resistance to bandits on Banaras Bridge in Banaras. The injured was brought to ASH for treatment.

Separately, a youth, Mohsin, 17, son of Ibrahim, was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on him in Chanesar Goth, Mehmoodabad. The injured was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

A 36-year-old man, Muhammad Saeed, son of Ahmed Gul, was shot and injured when unidentified armed men open fire on him in Keamari near Docks. The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
