USAID awards scholarships to 102 students

KARACHI: USAID awarded scholarships to 102 students enrolled in ADE and B.Ed. (Hons) programs in Sindh as part of its $165 million Pakistan Reading Project. The scholarships were awarded by USAID’s Provincial Director for Sindh and Balochistan Leon Waskin and Sindh’s Additional Secretary for Education Dr. Fazlullah Pechuho.

The scholarships will pay for tuition and supplies as well as provide a stipend to recipients. During the ceremony, 11 future teachers who recently completed the USAID-funded ADE program were awarded graduation certificates.”
