Varsity attack: (Countrywide prayers for Charsadda martyrs held)

ISLAMABAD: As nation observed day of mourning for those martyred in militant attack on Charsadda’s Bacha Khan university, countrywide prayers for departed souls were held in education institutions on Thursday.

According to reports, ceremonies were held in government as well as private schools and colleges at different cities where students and teachers offered fateha for 21 people killed in the tragedy.

In Islamabad, a ceremony held at sports complex where people prayed for Charsadda victims. On the other hand, the Bacha Khan university reopened a day after the brazen attack.

A large number of students and people from all walks of life gathered outside the university’s main gate and offered fateha for martyrs.
