WB: (WB approves $75 million to support TDPs of FATA)

ISLAMABAD: The World Bank (WB) has approved a credit of $ 75 million to support people affected by terrorism in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

According to a statement by World Bank, fund will be used for early recovery of families affected by the militancy crisis, promote child health, and strengthen emergency response safety net delivery systems in FATA.

The Grant will be provided in two instalments. First is a one-time Early Recovery Grant of Rs 35,000 per family and the second one is a Livelihood Support Grant of Rs 16,000 per family in four monthly instalments of Rs 4,000 each.
