Weather: (Punjab, KP, Kashmir receive rain

ISLAMABAD: Parts of central and upper Punjab, Islamabad Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir received rain on Thursday morning.

Met Office says the rain spell will persist in the next 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 25 mm has been recorded in Murree followed by 22 mm in Rawalakot.

Kalaam, Astore and Murree also received snowfall over the hills. Multan, DG Khan divisions and Gilgit Baltistan also received rain on Wednesday night.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Thursday morning was: Islamabad 13 degrees centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar 14, Karachi 22, Quetta 07, Gilgit and Murree 03 and Muzaffarabad 08 degrees centigrade.
