Weather: (Rain lashes parts of country, turns weather chilly)

ISLAMABAD: Light rain drizzling has been reported from different parts of country including Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Tuesday.

Met office has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain and snowfall over the hills on Tuesday. The rain lashed upper parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kurram Agency turning the weather chilly.

According to Met Office, rain with snowfall over hills is likely at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, DI Khan Divisions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA during next twenty hour.

Parachinar has received 5 millimetre rain followed by Dir 3mm, Saidu Sharif 2mm, Bannu and Kalam 1 mm each while DI Khan, Peshawar, Risalpur received trace respectively.

Tourists’ destination ‘Kalam’ in Swat district received one-inch snowfall turning the weather extremely cold. A western disturbance is affecting upper parts of the country and is likely to persist for next 24 hours.
