Youth killed, six injured in mishaps

KARACHI: A youth was electrocuted and six others were injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

A youth, Anees, 22, son of Hanif, was electrocuted during work in Water Pump, Nasir Jump area of Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.

Three persons, Shahid, 60, son of Alauddin, Ali Mohammad, 34, son of Haji and Saifullah, 20, son of Mohammad Ali, were injured in a traffic accident at Shafiq Morr, North Karachi. They were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.

Two youth, Abdur Rehman, 20, and Habibullah, 18, son of Hamid, were injured when a speeding vehicle hit them in Chashma Goth in Dawood Chowrangi. They were brought to JPMC for treatment.

A girl, Maham Fayyaz, 25, was injured when she was hit by a speeding vehicle at Nagin Chowrangi. She was shifted to ASH for treatment
