Youth participation lauded

KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said on Saturday that the passion shown by people on the eve of Independence Day was praiseworthy. He said it was a delight to see that the youths are dedicated and patriotic and they love their country.

On the especial instructions of Commissioner Karachi to celebrate the Independence Day with zeal and joy, the district administrations organized different events different events.

Siddiqui also paid visits to different areas of the city and become happy to see the enthusiasm of youth. He also sliced a cake in an event where he also enjoyed tableau, songs and other activities presented by children.

He also participated in an event organized by eunuchs in Polo Ground. Eunuchs hoisted Pakistani flag and sang patriotic songs. In addition, he participated in a tree plantation campaign organized in Noor Park.

During his visits, he said: “Our youth love their country and have passion to serve it.” He said this is a good sign that the youths have actively participated in Pakistan’s Independence Day activities.
