QUETTA: Manpower is pour biggest asset. Skilled people would change the fate of the country one day by joining economic development run. This was stated by Senior Minister and President PML-N Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri at the inaugural ceremony of Balochistan Institute of Technical Education (BITE) held here Thursday.
Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua, Provincial Ministers and members of parliament were also present.
Thanking Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua , Senior minister Nawab Zehri said dignified employment would be arranged along with Federal government and Pak Army.
BITE President Brigadier Babar Meraj in his address of welcome said that it was established in 2007 with special cooperation of Southern Command, EME and Provincial government. Besides Ministry of Religious Affairs, Oil and Gas and Balochistan Governor also extended financial assistance for the institute.
He said BITE was providing free admission and uniform to both boy and girl students. There is separate arrangement for girl students. So far 6374 boys and girls have acquired technical education. Presently 400 girl and boys were acquiring technical education.
Chief guest Nawab Sanaullah Zehri announced Rupees one million for BITE students.
