In Syria, at least 10 civilians were killed in a Russian airstrike on a school serving as a shelter near the Israeli frontier.
Khaled Solh of the Syrian Civil Defense says the school building in the village of Ain el-Tineh was being used to shelter families who have been forced to flee their homes amid the fighting.
According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, more than thirty-five people have also been injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, Amnesty International says the United States-led coalition is "deeply in denial" about the number of civilians killed during an offensive it launched to remove ISIS from Syria's Raqqa last year.
In a statement released today, the rights organization has said that unless the coalition learns from its mistakes in Raqqa and Mosul, it will be doomed to repeat them, with civilians again paying a devastating price.
