16-member new cabinet committee approved

BAHAWALPUR: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved 16 members cabinet committee for proposing framework on making the nation building departments more effective.

MPA from Bahawalpur Qazi Adnan Farid has been included as a member while Provincial Minister for Communication and Works Malik Tanveer Aslam will be chairman of the committee. The chief minister has directed cabinet committee to meet immediately and upon formulation of the framework, submit its proposal,says a notification.

According to details, other members of the committee are Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mian Yawar Zaman,Punjab Minister for Finance Mian Shujaur Rehman, Minister Environment Colonel Shuja Khanzada, Hashmi Jawan Bakhat MPA, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Dr Ijaz Nabi, Additional Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development, Secretary Finance, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Managing Director Metro Bus Authority Sibtain Fazal Halim, CEO ECSP Karamatullah Chaudhry, Secretary Agriculture Dr Ijaz Munir, Dircetor Lahore Development Authority Ahad Cheema and Secretary Implementation to Chief Minister Nabil Ahmed Awan.

OGRA decides not to close CNG stations on Eid-ul-Fitr

Islamabad: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has decided not to close CNG stations on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in the country. According to reports Official said that decision has been made to facilitate the people to reach their homes to celebrate the Eid with their families.
