According to the concerned officials of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), 90 percent out of these 1700 applicants have sought the loans for establishing their dairy development businesses, while the loans-seeking female applicants have also desired to run their boutiques, vocational training institutes and beauty parlors. They said that the provincial government departments, district administrations, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), SMEDA and other private institutions were now providing the complete guidance to the applicants in this regard.
They added that the government has also decided to hold awareness-raising seminars for promoting motivation and inspiration amongst the local people towards Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Program, which would be arranged at the District Council Halls and in different government and private schools and colleges as well.
They added the first draw for these loans was expected to be held in the last week of the running month.
