200 get degrees in Preston University convocation

Karachi: Two hundred students were awarded degrees in their respective disciplines including EMBA, MBA, BBA, B-Tech, B.Ed and BSIT at the 14th convocation of Preston University (PU) held at a local hotel on Wednesday evening.

High achievers were also awarded gold medals and certificates. The Convocation was attended by Acting Governor Sindh Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Chancellor Preston University Dr. Abdul Basit, Vice
Chancellor Dr Ibrahim Shah Bukhari and Director General Asif Farooqui.

Khuhro congratulated the graduating students and advised them to serve the country with honesty and dignity.

Dr. Abdul Basit remarked that varsity had produced 80000 graduates since its inception who were serving in their respective fields in country and all over the word.

Dr Ibrahim Shah Bukhari said that Preston University was the oldest Private Sector University in Pakistan. He said that law and order situation in the city has badly affected the educational process at private institutes.
