25 buffaloes snatched

NAUNDERO: As many as 25 buffaloes were snatched by armed men within the limits of Ketty Mumtaz police station, near here, on Friday.

Villager Muhammad Umar Mahesar, resident of village Phulpota, told Newsmen that he took his buffaloes to nearby jungle known as Shareefpur forest when armed bandits attacked and beat him severely. He said that he immediately returned to the village and informed the villagers.

He further said that villagers of the riverine area are passing their nights sleepless as cattle theft had beaten all previous records. SHO Ketty Mumtaz police, Ali Hassan Abro, is also accompanying the villagers to find the looters along with experts of footprints and other police force.
