27 killed, 65 injured in Hazara Town Suicide attack

QUETTA: As many as 27 people including six women were killed and 65 others injured in suicide attack near an imam bargah in Hazara Town here Sunday night. Over a dozen injured are stated to be serious. Injured were shifted to BMC hospital, Civil hospital and CMH.

It may be recalled in a previous explosion in Hazara town more than 100 people were killed.

According to details a suicide explosion occurred near Imam Bargah in Hazara town here tonight. As a result 27 people were killed. These also included six women and two children. More than 65 were also injured.

Angry people resorted to severe firing in the area. It caused difficulties for volunteers in rescue Firing also spread fear and panic in the area.

Supply of electricity was suspended. An emergency was wounded in government hospitals after suicide bombing and doctors and paramedical staff was called for duty in emergency.

Security was further heightened in the city after suicide bombing in Hazara in Quetta city. Police and FC started search of vehicles.
