27% Pakistani men intend to initiate their own business, Poll

Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 27% Pakistanis intend to initiate their own business.

A nationally representative sample of men from across the four provinces was asked “Do you intend to start your own business?” Responding to this, 27% said yes and 73% said no.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1446 men in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during August 12, 2013 – August 19, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
