41% believes facilities available to disabled children satisfactory: Survey

Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan almost thirteen percent of Pakistanis believed that there is a good level of facilities available to disabled children and adults whereas 41% believe it is satisfactory.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “What is your opinion about the level of facilities available for disabled children and adults in Pakistan?” Responding to this, 2% claimed that the level of facilities was very good, 11% termed them as good, 41% believed that the level was satisfactory, 20% believed levels were bad while 9% considered them very bad. However, 17% did not give a view.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2632 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 03 to 10.
