62% Pakistanis say they are happy with the life they are living, Poll

Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 62% Pakistanis say they are happy with the life they are living.

A nationally representative sample of men and women, from across the four provinces was asked “The kind of life that you are living, how happy are you with it?” Responding to this, 15% said very happy, 47% said happy and 31% it was okay. 4% said unhappy and 2% said very unhappy. 1% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2674 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during Sep 30, 2013 – Oct 07, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
