Admissions in evening classes at KU begin on Monday

Karachi: The admissions for evening classes of Masters, BS Honours, Diploma and Certificate programs of Karachi University for the year 2013 will begin from Monday December 17.

The admissions are being offered for BS Honours in Actuarial Sciences & Risk Management, Agriculture & Agree Business Management, Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology, Applied Physics, Audiology & Speech Pathology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Studies, Food Science & Technology, General History, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Special education, Statistics, Urdu, Women Studies and Zoology.

For Master’s program, the admissions are being offered in MBA, MCS, Library & Information Science and Pharm D.

The Certificate Courses are offered in Arabic, Child Psychology, Human Behaviour, Mathematics, Social Work, Library & Information Science, Mass Communication, Persian Language, Petroleum Technology, Urdu and Local Government.

The admission forms along with prospectus could be obtained on payment of Rs.1000/ up to December 26 from UBL bank counter at Silver Jubilee Gate of Karachi University. At least 45 percent marks are required for admission however for BBA and MBA it is 50 percent while 55 percent for BSSE/BSCS.

Meanwhile, KU announced that successful candidates of BS/Honours open merit can deposit fee up to December 21 and the last date for submitting registration forms for M.A. Improvement of Division can is Monday December 17.
