AJK: Protest rallies in AJK against state terrorism in IHK‚ Indian firing on LoC

Muzaffarabad: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) protest rallies were held in all the major cities and towns to express strong indignation over unprovoked Indian firing on the Line of Control‚ which has claimed several lives.

The people had staged a big protest rally in Muzaffarabad on Monday against the Indian firing on the Line of Control as well as state terrorism against the Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir.

The protest rally‚ led by Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and attended by people from all walks of life‚ marched up to the United Nations Military Observers Mission for India and Pakistan in Muzaffarabad and delivered a memorandum against the violations of the Line of Control by Indian forces.

The memorandum demanded the United Nations and international community to take notice of the Indian firing as well as atrocities being committed against the unarmed Kashmiris by Indian forces and army-backed village defence committees in occupied Kashmir.
