Alkhidmat Foundation distributes sacrificial meat

QUETTA: Alkhidmat Foundation distributed sacrificial meat worth Rupees 20 million on Eidul Azha among earthquake hit people and a total fo ten thousand affected families were benefitted.

Alkhidmat Foundation sources said here Sunday that its President Dr Hafeezur Rehman, Sindh President Dr Syed Tabassum Jafri, Secretary Balochistan Jamil Ahmed Kurd, Incharge Relief Operation Haneef Kakar and others visited Awaran where they distributed sacrificial meat and eid gifts among affectees.

Sources said Alkhidmat teams reached all affected and remote areas of Awaran, Gesh Kore and Mashkay where they distributed sacrificial meat, eidi among 70 thousand children and new clothes among three thousand people.

Speaking to Newsmen on the occasion Dr Hafeezur Rehman said Alkhidmat distributes sacrificial meat among deserving and poor people every year in far flung areas of the country. This year this project was carried out in Balochistan specifically to distribute sacrificial meat among earthquake affectees. He aid Alkhidmat was busy in relief and rescue activities in earthquake affected areas from day one and these activities were still continuing. More than 350 volunteers of Alkhidmat had reached Awaran Gesh Kore and Mashkay prior to eid where they celebrated with their affected brothers and sisters. These activities eh added would continue till complete rehabilitation of affectees.
