QUETTA: All Parties Conference APC has called for resolving Balochistan issue through national jirga and army should play its role as bridge so that confidence of the masses is restored. Political and religious parties should play their role for permanent steps for peace in the province.

It warned if Raisani government was restored they would jam the country and organize long march.

Jirga was organised by Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen on law and order situation in Balochistan here Tuesday.

Speakers included Secretary General Jamaat Islami Liaqat Baloch, Naib Amir Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi, Central leader PPP senator Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani, Vice President PML Naseer Mengal, PMLN Leader Khudai Noor Khan, former provincial president PTI Qasim Khan Soori, MQM leader Saleem Akhtar Advocate, Syed Habib Shah of Tehreek Ahle Sunnat and others.

They said incidents of abduction for ransom, target killings and other incidents were on the rise. Solution to these problems is fresh elections in the country. Unless there are elections and honest people elected situation in the country would remain the same.

They said not Opposition only but PPP was also angry with Balochistan government. They clearly stated that government had failed in providing security to the masses. They said General Pervez Musharraf destroyed the country but he was seen off by giving Guard of Honour.

They said situation is not only not good in Balochistan but it is also not good in Sindh and Khyber Pashtoonkhwa. They said present government has lost its mandate and did not come to the expectation of the masses.

They said parliament passed several resolutions but foreign and internal policies were not changed.

They said it is demand of democracy if any one makes mistake he should immediately resign by accepting mistake.

They said solution to problem is holding elections without any further delay.

They said resolution of Balochistan issue should be found through holding jirga and army should play role of a bridge.
