Altaf supports move to recover illegal arms

KARACHI: The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement MQM Altaf Hussain has welcomed the move announced by heads of police and rangers for making Karachi free of illegal weapons.

He assured his full cooperation for the drive to recover illegal arms in Karachi. He said that the MQM had been against all forms terrorism and it would continue to support any support taken for establishing a durable peace in Karachi and protecting the people.

He asked the MQM workers to cooperate with the police and rangers and advised them to hand over at local police stations if they had any illegal weapons in their possession.
