QUETTA: Amir Jamaat Islami Balochistan and a candidate on B16 Abdul Mateen Akhundzada has demanded of the caretaker government for convening a common jirga of all political parties and tribal elders for improving law and order situation so that there is no bloodshed till elections.

Addressing a Press conference here Tuesday he asked all political parties to play their role for law and order and take practical steps to stop violent acts till elections and caretaker government should convene a joint jirga of political parties and tribal elders to overcome the prevalent situation.

He said former minister were using government vehicles and incentives. Transformers and electricity poles were being supplied on several areas. He asked Election Commission of taking notice of this situation. He aid ten days are left for elections but caretaker cabinet was not yet announced. He suggested a mini cabinet consisting of five to six ministers should be formed. He aid work to be done by political parties was being carried out by institutions.

Answering a question he said had there been independent judiciary more than dozen of minister would have been in jail and more than a dozen ministers punished in fake degree cases were participating in elections.
