ANP former MPA reposes confidence over ANP leadership

Peshawar: Expressing confidence over the parliamentary board decisions, the former MPA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly Aurangzeb Khan on Monday has said that despite not allotting ticket to him he will remain loyal to ANP as ticket has not so much important for him comparing his party loyalty.

Aurangzeb Khan who had won the election from PF1 as ANP candidate and now dropped from the party’s candidature list , said he would work for the success of ANP nominee in his constituency.

Many parties, he said had contacted him and offered ticket for both National and Provincial Assembly seats but he would not want to become dissident of ANP and betray his party just for a ticket.

“ my family is loyal to ANP. We have rendered sacrifices for the party in the past, he said adding that he would never prefer his personal interest over the party interest in the future.

It is to be recalled here that his elder brother Alamzeb Khan, who had won the 2008 general elections on ANP platform from PK1 was killed during a terrorist attack on his car after remaining member of provincial assembly for 9 months .
