Arab League voices concern over developments in Yemen’s Aden

Cairo The Arab League on Tuesday expressed concern over the worrying developments in the interim Yemeni capital, Aden.

The latest developments will negatively impact stability in Yemen and the unity of its people, an Arab League official said in a statement, warning that division of the country will harm the Yemenis and lead to more instability.

The official added that restoring comprehensive peace and stability in Yemen demands that all concerned parties work together towards a united goal, which is confronting terrorism and militias. He called for dialogue and negotiations and avoiding military escalation and violence.

Meanwhile, the Arab League official affirmed that the continued Houthi rocket attacks on Saudi Arabia demand that a peaceful solution be reached in the country. He condemned these attacks against the Kingdom, saying that they pose a threat to regional and international peace.
