Art Govt to bear all expenses of medical treatment of folk singer Ms Reshma

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari Wednesday said that the federal government will bear all the expenses incurred on medical treatment of renowned folk singer Ms. Reshma, who is undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Lahore.

The President while lauding the invaluable contributions of Ms Reshma in promoting Pakistan’s culture and music said that Ms. Reshma through her folk singing introduced the rich culture of Pakistan in the world.

The President said that the Government of Pakistan values Ms. Reshma’s contribution and would do its utmost for her medical treatment. The President directed the relevant authorities for providing every possible assistance and best medical treatment to Ms. Reshma. The President also prayed for her early recovery.

It may be mentioned that the President had already authorized a stipend of Rs.10, 000/ per month to Ms. Reshma.
