Attacks on two Imambargahs of Gujranwala condemned

KARACHI: Central Coordination Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on two Imambargahs of Gujranwala Punjab and expressed profound grief and sorrow over the killing of three people including a Imam.

Voicing serious concern over the heinous attempts of the terrorists to ignite sectarian riots in the country, the Central Coordination Committee deplored the nefarious designs of the terrorists during the month of Moharram to deteriorate peace, tranquillity and sectarian harmony.

The Committee offered heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family members and advised them to remain calm and patient.

The Central Coordination Committee has demanded of President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and Interior federal minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali to take stern notice of the firing on Imambargahs and to bring the perpetrators to the book and give them an exemplary punishment.
