Azad Jammu & Kashmir Govt condemns India’s move to air weather reports on AJK, GB

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has strongly condemned India’s move to begin broadcasting the weather reports on AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, showing these as its own territories in the bulletin of state-owned broadcasters.

He said this while talking to newsmen after offering Fateha at the grave of prominent Kashmiri leader and former President of the state Mirwaiz Muhammad Yusuf Shah on the eve of his 53rd death anniversary in Muzaffarabad today.

Terming Indian move as clear evidence of its frustration, the AJK Prime Minister said that Indian nefarious motives will never yield desired results and the defeat has become its fate.

He urged the United Nations to fulfil its promises made with the people of Kashmir on their right to self-determination.

Raja Farooq Haider asserted that India, after abrogating special status of the disputed territory on 5th August last year, no more a party in Kashmir dispute. India in-fact is an illegal occupant violating the international laws and agreements.
