BEARISH TREND WITNESSED AT PSX

THE PAKISTAN STOCK EXCHANGE WAS BEARISH TODAY (MONDAY).

THE KSE-100 INDEX CLOSED TODAY (MONDAY) AT 38354.85 POINTS AS COMPARED TO 38649.34 POINTS ON THE LAST WORKING DAY WITH A NEGATIVE CHANGE OF 294.49 POINTS.

THE TOTAL TURNOVER WAS 65,857,010 AS COMPARED TO 137,733,830 ON THE LAST WORKING DAY WITH UNITY FOODS (R) HAVING THE HIGHEST TURNOVER OF 14,220,500.

TOTAL 321 COMPANIES' TRANSACTED SHARES IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY (MONDAY), OUT OF WHICH 62 RECORDED GAINS AND 243 SUSTAINED LOSSES WHEREAS THE SHARE PRICE OF 16 COMPANIES REMAINED UNCHANGED.

PAK SERVICES RECORDED THE MAXIMUM INCREASE IN ITS SHARE PRICE, WHICH WAS 45.10 RUPEES WHILE NESTLE PAKISTAN RECORDED MAXIMUM DECREASE OF 191.80 RUPEES.
