Black Day observed against bomb blasts

SIALKOT: In Sialkot, the people, observed the Black Day as a protest against the terrorism attack on the Ziarat Residency and bomb blast in Quetta. The people, including local politicians, traders, human rights activists, representatives of NGOs and CSOs, staged a peaceful sit-in in city’s congested Allama Iqbal Chowk. They were wearing black arm bandages and carrying banners inscribing the slogans against terrorism. They were also chanting antiterrorism slogans.

The people also marched on city roads to lodge their strong protest against the attack on Ziarat Residency. Mehar Ghulam Mujtaba President Markazi Anjuman Tajraan Sialkot led the rally.

They strongly condemned the attack on the Ziarat Residency and bomb blasts in Quetta, in which 23 people martyred by the terrorists in Bolan Medical Complex and earlier attack on girl medical students’ bus of Women University last day. In Ziarat Residency Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah spent his last days.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Ishaq Butt Chairman All Pakistan Dry Ports Association has termed the attack on Ziarat Residency as an attack on Ideology of Pakistan, demanding immediate arrest of the accused and stern legal action against them.
