British envoys call on Sindh CM

KARACHI: British High Commissioner to Pakistan in Islamabad, Adam Thomson, called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, at the Chief Minister House here on Wednesday and exchanged views on different mutual affairs. He was accompanied by British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi.

The chief minister told British Higher Commissioner that vast investment opportunities exist in Thar coal and Sindh government was taking steps for encouragement of foreign investment. The steps were on to get maximum investment in Sindh, he said.

British High Commissioner assured full cooperation in this regard. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sindh Naveed Kamran Baloch was also present on the occasion.

Later, gifts of Sindh’s Ajrak and Topi were presented to the British envoys.
