In a statement, Barjees Ahmed said that if the said decision was taken during general elections 2013, then the mandate of the people could not be snatched at any cost. On the occasion, Barjees Ahmed reiterated the party demand to announce the recent results of the general elections as ‘null and void’ and conduct reelection under the supervision of army.

Acting JI Karachi chief said that the criminal elements had hijacked the general elections of May 11, in which they seized the polling stations by force and change the results by marking fake stampings.

“The Chief Election Commissioner soon after the results of general elections of May 11, confessed that the ECP has failed to conduct fair, free and transparent elections, which was an open proof that the recent elections were rigged”, he
