CDA seals 12 agro farms on violations of bylaws

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority CDA has sealed more than twelve agro farms on the violations of bylaws.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday authority will organize a workshop on the growing issue of violations of authority bylaws in different agro farming schemes. Workshop would be held on March 12 at Zarai Taraqqiati Bank Limited ZTBL Headquarter, Islamabad.

The main theme of the workshop is to raise awareness about the purpose of these Agro Framing Schemes and their importance for the Capital city and discourage the nonconforming use and violation of relevant rules.

Concept of this workshop is to educate the owners and farmers who have actually developed agro farms with poultry vegetables and orchard or trying to develop their farms as per terms and conditions of allotment.

Workshop would be held in collaboration with Zarai Taraqqiati Bank Limited ZTBL and National Agriculture Research Centre NARC.

Renowned speakers from different fields will educate the owners and farmers that how yield could be increased. Subjects like poultry, vegetables and orchard would also be addressed on this occasion. Different stalls of fertilizers, pesticides/insecticides and of agriculture instruments would also be established at the venue.
