China satisfied with security of its nationals in Pakistan

Islamabad: China has lauded Pakistan government’s measures taken for the security of its citizens working in different projects in Pakistan.

The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong said planning and construction of Pakistan-China Economic Corridor is in progress and both sides are working very closely to implement important consensus decision already reached between the leadership of both countries.

In an interview,he said people of two countries will soon be able to see the achievements that will be made in this regard.

He said Vice Chairman of China’s National Reform and Development Commission Zhang Xiaoqiang paid very successful visit to Islamabad in August and held first round of joint commission on economic corridor with the Pakistani officials.

Sun Weidong appreciated measures taken by Pakistani government to make sure that Chinese citizens in Pakistan are secure and safe.

He said China also realizes strategies and efforts Pakistan is taking for its stability in accordance with national requirements.

He hoped Pakistan-China Cooperation will be further deepened in future and being close friend of China‚ Pakistan will also enjoy stability and prosperity.
