Chinese parliamentary delegation arrives

Islamabad: A Chinese Parliamentary delegation‚ headed by Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples’ Congress Madam Shen Yueyue‚ arrived in Islamabad Thursday on a three-day official visit to Pakistan.

The delegation was received by Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbassi at the airbase.

The Chinese delegation comprises senior Members and officials of the Chinese National People’s Congress.

During its stay‚ the delegation will hold talks with Speaker National Assembly and Chairman Senate to further strengthen parliamentary exchanges between the two countries.

The visiting delegation will also call on the president and the prime minister and discuss potential of further augmenting bilateral relations in different sectors.
