Christians’ protest demos against Peshawar blasts

SIALKOT: The hundreds of the Christians, Monday, staged protest demonstrations in Sialkot city, Uggoki, Sambrial, Daska, Pasrur, Badiana, Chawinda and surrounding area and lodged strong protest against the brutal killings of the innocent Christians in ghastly Peshawar church carnage.

The hundreds of the Christians including women and children came out on the roads in Sialkot as a protest against terrorism. They were wearing black arms bandages and were also carrying banners and placards. They chanted antiterrorism slogans, demanding stern legal action against the terrorist across the country.

The protesting Christians also kept the traffic blocked for three consecutive hours on main Sialkot-Sambrial-Wazirabad Road near Sahowala Canal Bridge and near China Chowk and Main Daska-Sialkot Road. The protesting Christians also staged the sit-in there, besides, protesting while laying on the said main roads.
