City: Pir Golra Sharif‚ Jamaat-e- Ahle Sunnat dissociate themselves from Qadri’s long march

Islamabad: Pir of Golra Sharif shrine has categorically stated that they and their followers have nothing to do with the long march of Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday, Pir Jalaluddin and Pir Nizamuddin said that Dr. Tahirul Qadri’s statements are selfcontradictory. Expressing their inability to support the Long March they said we are religious people and don’t want to get involved in politics. They said that Dr. Qadri doesn’t enjoy support of Ulemas.

They urged their followers to distance themselves from the March. Meanwhile‚ Jamaat Ahle Sunnat has also disassociated itself from the long march. Pir Riaz Hussain Shah has also announced to dissociate from the planned long march.
