CM: By polls

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has directed administration to remain impartial and for maintaining law and order and order during by polls in the province. He was addressing a high level meeting here Tuesday about by polls here Tuesday. Chief Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, Secretary Home Akbar Hussain Durrani, Inspector General Balochistan Police Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera and Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Syed sultan Bayazeed attended. Various proposals were considered for maintaining law and order. Secretary Home and IGP briefed the meeting.

Chief Minister said by polls will be held in four limited constituencies. Taking it test case administration should take steps to remain impartial and making them transparent.

Directing removing apprehensions about law and order of various circles Chief Minister said all steps should be taken for security of life and property of people during the polls particularly in Jhal Magsi and Killa Abdullah FC should also be deployed along with Levies and Police for maintaining law and order. He said election material should be dispatched safely under the supervision of security forces.
