CM meets Mahmood Achakzai

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch held a meeting with Chairman Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami party Mahmood Khan Achakzai at his residence here Sunday.

Speaking to Newsmen after his meeting with Mahmood Khan, Chief Minister said that government formation in Balochistan is complete in all respect. We are tackling all matters under the constitution. People would see what reforms we have brought to the departments in Balochistan which were once hub of corruption.

Dr Malik Baloch reiterated his appeal to the angry forces whether religious or Baloch to come to negotiation table for talks. He aid present government is sympathiser of all including angry forces. He said we want Balochistan peaceful.

Asked what talks he had with Mahmood Achakzai, Chief Minister said he met with him to exchange eid greetings. He is his old friend.

Hamid Achakzai Provincial Minister and brother of Mahmood Achakzai also present on the occasion said so far we have come to the expectations of the people. We faced three major issues. One, amendment in the constitution under which strength of ministers was to be kept at minimum. Second the party which would form government at the Centre would have its government in the province and third election of people’s Chief Minister which we had successfully.

He said our past is before masses. We have joined the government under an intention. We have five years period and we would tackle all issues amicably during this period.
